A brief history
Kemp Accounts was founded in 2005.
The business was intially started by Karen as a part time venture that would fit in around her family life. Karen has several years experience working as a Management Accountant for a large fashion retailer, as well as property management and the hire trade.
Karen has completed the IAB and AAT to intermediate level. Along with this she has also completed numerous courses with Sage and is a fully qualified RSA PA.
In 2011 Darren joined the team to help out with the ever increasing work load. Having retail experience and a very organised and friendly manner, he became a great member of the team.
Kemp Accounts incorporated as a limited company in 2016 having hugely increased their client base to the point whereby it was no longer deemed a part time role. Kemp Accounts Ltd still strives to keep the friendly, approachable reputation it has always had.
2017 brought a new member to the team, Kim Payne. Kim has worked in the past dealing with customers, either face to face or on the phone. Kim brings an organised approach to the company and deals with all aspects of setting up companies.
Nicola Wood, joined in September 2018. Nicola has also several years of retail experience, gaining skills which she brings to the company. Nicola mainly deals with the running and maintaing of the Payroll system.
The latest member of the team, Michelle Colvill joined Autumn 2019. Michelle has spent several years in a customer facing environment. Michelle deals with the inputting and organisation of all documents for Limited Companies.
The whole team make every effort to make all clients feel relaxed and worry free. Their friendly and easy to talk to attitude make them a great family run team.
